Welcome to Worthy of Hope Tanzania!
We are a registered NGO based in Moshi, Tanzania, located on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. We focus on women & youth empowerment, education, development, and health care. We partner with international volunteer organizations to host volunteers who want to make a meaningful impact in our communities.
Our Volunteer Projects
- Teaching & Education: Support local schools and teach English, Mathematics, or life skills.
- Community Development: Work with youth centers, children centers and local communities
- Women & Youth Empowerment: Mentor and support women and youth programs
- Healthcare Support: Help local hospitals and clinics, assist in health education programs, and support community health initiatives.
- Education & Sports: Teach, play, and inspire through sports and language in Tanzania
Volunteer Accommodation & Support
- Dorm-style shared room, Twin-beds shared and private rooms
- Meals provided 2 times a day at an affordable cost
- Local project coordinators and supervision
- Airport pickup
- Orientation and 24hr in-country support
Requirements for Partner Organization
- Sending volunteers age 18 or older
- Minimum volunteer stay: 4 weeks
- Volunteers should have basic English
- Volunteers should be interested in community projects that makes learning easy and fun!
